I help companies develop coding, coverage and reimbursement strategies to comply with and leverage complex regulatory requirements.
Helping healthcare and biotech clients access coverage, coding and payment for their services and technologies under Medicare and Medicaid is Haider Andazola's specialty as a senior associate in our Healthcare and Federal Government Strategies groups. He works with clients from various sectors of the healthcare industry, such as digital health, pharmaceutical and medical device companies, hospitals, physicians, payers and pharmacies.
As part of this work, Haider advises clients on the requirements governing federal agency authority under the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) and helps clients strategically navigate agency regulations and guidance to achieve their business objectives. Haider guides clients through the intricate regulatory issues involving the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and state Medicaid agencies.
Haider also maintains an active pro-bono practice helping asylees from Latin America, Africa and North Korea.
